Make your changes. Then copy the contents of the notepad, and issue the commandsim>wrfile /etc/hostsPaste the clipboard. End with CTRL-C (Ignore the error, always there). There you are, old /etc/hosts but with new hostname (or other changes, for that matter).Robbert! you can also do a

sim>rdfile /etc/hosts

Paste the clipboard. End with CTRL-C (Ignore the error, always there). There you are, old /etc/hosts but with new hostname (or other changes, for that matter).
