vWire is flippin’ great!

I’ve been hanging with the vWire guys (Steve Beaver and Karen Hepner) a couple of times this week. After having dinner on monday evening, hanging out at some bars and Steve and me celebrating getting the vExpert Award, I thought it was time to swing by their booth on the Solution Exchange and find out what vWire is all about. Unfortunately, the product is still under heavy development and I had to sign a NDA to get the inside scoop, they did give me loads of goodies.
First, I got a signed copy of ‘VMware ESX Essentials in the Virtual Data Center’, which is awesome. I’ll be reading all the way home 
. But then, I was in for a big surprise, Karen gave me a Flip MinoHD, which is the upscaled version of the Flip all the VMworld Bloggers got! I also got a tri-pod along with the Flip, so no-one will notice my unsteady hand when drinking and flipping at the same time. Great advice for all the VMworld Bloggers: don’t drink and flip!
Some specs for the techies:

- Designable: Yes (see the photo’s below!)
- Resolution: 1280 x720
- Frame Rate: 30 frames per second
